Email supportCommon questions
- How do I get the app?
- Ahead is coming to the App Store. Join the waitlist for a launch update. If you already have beta access, you can keep using your existing account and contact us for installation help. Join the waitlist →
- When do I need a membership?
- Creating your account and first budget is free. Ongoing budgeting actions require membership. Eligible subscribers can start a seven-day free trial by accepting Apple’s subscription offer. Apple determines eligibility, and the offer shown before you confirm states the trial duration and the localized price that follows. Any remaining time on an existing Ahead-provided trial keeps its original deadline.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open Ahead and go to Settings → Manage membership, or use Apple’s subscriptions page. To avoid a charge after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Apple controls billing and shows when your access ends. Manage Apple subscriptions →
- I previously paid on the Ahead website. What changes?
- Website checkout has ended. Your Ahead account and budget stay in place, but a previous web payment does not start or charge an Apple subscription and does not transfer paid time. Choose an Apple subscription yourself in the App Store version if you want membership there. Email us for help with an affected web charge or cancellation.
- How do I delete my account and my data?
- Open Ahead, go to Settings, and choose Delete Account. Deleting Ahead is permanent, but it does not cancel an Apple subscription. Use Manage subscription on the deletion sheet or Apple’s subscription settings if you also want to cancel. If you cannot reach the app, email us from your account address.
- Does Ahead connect to my bank?
- No. Ahead never asks for bank logins and never moves money. You tell Ahead what you earn and what you spend — by voice, by typing, or by handing it a statement — and it shapes a plan around that. Your bank keeps doing the banking.
- Something is wrong with my numbers.
- Email us a short description of what you expected and what you saw — a screenshot helps enormously. Money bugs go to the front of the queue.
